1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Moc Android application and the Moc product website. Moc is offered under the Byte Nomad brand. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the operator of Moc.
The website and app serve different purposes and do not use identical technologies. This policy describes both so that users can understand where information may be processed.
2. Information stored on your device
Moc stores clock preferences, display settings, configuration profiles, language and theme choices, and cached Pro entitlement information locally on your Android device. This information supports the app’s core functionality.
Removing the app or clearing its storage may remove locally stored settings. A Google Play purchase record is managed separately by Google Play.
3. App analytics, diagnostics, and configuration
The Android app uses Google Firebase services, including:
- Firebase Analytics for app usage events.
- Firebase Crashlytics for crash and diagnostic reports.
- Firebase Performance Monitoring for performance information.
- Firebase Remote Config for remotely managed app configuration.
Depending on the service and device settings, these providers may process device identifiers, app instance information, approximate location derived from network information, diagnostic data, performance data, and app interaction data. Their processing is governed by Google’s policies and service terms.
4. Advertising
The free app uses Google AdMob. The Android app declares access to the advertising identifier. AdMob may process advertising identifiers, device information, interaction data, and approximate location to deliver, limit, measure, and protect advertising.
Moc Pro removes ads from the app. Data already processed by advertising services before upgrading is not controlled by the website.
5. Purchases
Moc Pro is sold through Google Play as a one-time lifetime in-app purchase. Google processes payment details, purchase records, tax information, and account information required for the transaction. We do not receive your complete payment card details.
The app checks Google Play purchase records to determine whether Pro access should be enabled and stores a limited entitlement result locally.
6. Support email
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, device model, Android version, Moc version, screenshots, and issue description. Do not send passwords, full payment card numbers, or unrelated sensitive information.
Support messages are used to answer requests, investigate problems, and improve Moc. Email providers may process message metadata and content as part of delivering and storing email.
7. Website data
The current website is a static site. It does not provide user accounts, accept payments, or set first-party advertising cookies.
The hosting server may record standard request information such as IP address, request time, requested path, user agent, response status, and referring page for security, reliability, and troubleshooting. If privacy-focused website analytics are added later, this policy will be updated before or when collection begins.
8. Third-party services
Moc relies on services provided by Google, including Google Play Services, Google Play Billing, Firebase, and AdMob. Review the applicable Google Privacy Policy, Google Play Terms, and Firebase privacy information.
9. Retention and control
Local app settings remain on the device until changed, cleared, or removed with the app. Purchase records are retained by Google according to Google’s policies. Support messages and server logs are retained only as reasonably needed for support, security, legal obligations, and service operation.
You can clear local app data through Android settings, uninstall Moc, change applicable Google account or advertising controls, and contact us regarding information contained in support correspondence.
10. Children
Moc is a general utility and is not directed specifically to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support without appropriate authorization, contact us so the request can be reviewed.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when Moc, the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective and last updated dates on this page identify the current published version.
